The Clown Faced Cowboys were a hard-edged alternative
country band, covering everything from Johnny Cash to
Rush. The system was simple... If it was a traditional
country song, it was "rocked up" if it was a rock song, it
was "countrified." Although the band was short-lived
(they were only together for six months and played just
three shows) crowds responded well to the juxtaposition
of CFC's music. The band was preparing to expand its set
list, including writing their own material, when a life
changing event for Billie Jane and Jerry Lee put
everything on hold. Priorities had to be restructured and
the band soon took a back seat to other projects. There is
still hope for a comeback someday... Until then, keep on
truckin'...
